If you already geocache (search with a GPS and/or published clues to find objects hidden in the outdoors by your fellow geocachers)… Especially if you geocache with your family for loads of family fun… Astrology can raise the level of that fun while you are out on the hunt to a new level.
So what does astrology have to do with geocaching?
Your birth chart, or the chart of any one of your children, shows what energies are currently very active in your inner life. Psychologists tell us that the unconscious dynamics of our most private, personal lives have an ability to project themselves outward onto events and objects in our environment.
The really good bits of ourselves – the inner wisdom we don’t know we have, the arty and creative side of us and, above all, our incredible and deep-seated sense of humor – project themselves onto the seemingly unimportant trivial events that occur around us each day. You’re kissed by your aunt and reek of her perfume, a bird crashes into your bedroom window, someone has dumped a box of erasers on your front lawn, and you accidentally step on a small rubber ball as you step out of the car.
Hunting down which of these trivial events actually are geocaches, that is, actually contain bits of your humor, wisdom and arty flair, is great fun. Detecting them is something even children are very good at and find great fun to do. Decoding these little dramas so that they speak to your family, and to what is currently happening in your family, is a skill that requires just a few simple steps.
So, once again, what does astrology have to do with this new game? Your birth charts can alert you to what type of dramas actually are geocaches for you and your family. It’s great fun puzzling this out.
